Anyone planning on staying at Hangdog should take these facts into account:

  • Any mail into Hangdog goes to the office and will only reach the recipient if they come asking. Please avoid using our address for banks and government departments.

  • There is no WIFI in camp.

  • There are no powered sites in camp. We only have limited ability to charge phones and other devices in the office.

  • Mobile coverage is OK at Camp and around the crag, Spark and Skinny Mobile are best.

Months of operation

We are open over the summer months, from November until Easter. We are typically closed May to October.

Facilities are available year round for educational groups.  Please contact us for more information about this

Please note: From mid-December to mid-February and over Easter Hangdog is exclusively rock climbers only. You may be asked for proof of intent to climb.
